Description of Work: The Gap Consultancy has been engaged since 2015 to support Energy Networks Australia to deliver its biennial conference and exhibition - the single major conference and exhibition for the Australian energy industry, developed by the industry. The Gap Consultancy has been used as an extension of Energy Network Australia’s internal communications team to provide the additional resources needed to deliver a project of this size and nature. Tasks included:

  • Support of the program development committee, including the abstract process

  • Preparation of marketing collateral

  • Working with various suppliers

  • Copywriting and editing

  • Support lead generation for attendees, sponsor and exhibitors

  • On-site event support and trouble shooting

  • Speaker management, including ministerial liaison

  • Support planning and delivery of social program events including opening drinks and gala dinner

  • Project lead on management and implementation of event mobile app and other technological integrations

  • Social and traditional media liaison
